Anyway over the past few weeks,

i've been bumming around (what's new), caught a few movies like green lantern and xmen : first class, watched the entire animated series of xmen (good ol childhood days!) and am currently watching the more recent xmen evolution. Dude, the advancement in technology is definitely present here...... the graphics are a total 5 levels up yo!

Can't wait to watch Transformers : Dark of the moon next week. Whoopwhoop! To watch in 3D or not?

Hmm yes other than shows (which reminds me i need to finish up bbt so i can continue with the others), i've also been uh.... kinda like exercising but not really?

I'm lazy to hit the gym, or head over to ecp during the weekends so well..... just swimming, squash and badminton. too awesome already!

But sadly, my output is 10x lesser than input................... Sleep eat sleep eat sleep eat.

Thegardenslug,Udders & Playnation to celebrate marcus' birthday and it was uber fun! Can't wait to go back to TGS again for the mixed grill for 55$. Plate of goodness to share!

Also celebrated our teenangel pea Yeoh Keng Min Linda 's 20th birthday. Did up a Hong Zhong cake for her before soph chauffeured us to timbre substation. Pity though, freaking queued like 2+hours and we weren't even seated. TERRIBLE. We left in the end, because we realised that even if the next table for 7 is available... the group behind us wld get it since they've got Platinum OCBC = Priority Queue. Wtf man. Starving people left disappointed but we still got pizzas in the end!

Rite Pizza Party at sophia's ;) So good so good! Even nikki lim came to join in the fun despite just booking out after a week of field camp! Hahaha linda lucky ah, everytime her birthday always full attendance!

Speaking of her birthday, i was supposed to do a video (which i actually started on) but i never completed making it................Howell. :(

Hmm another thing worth blogging about is prolly my involvement in a new project, Urban Relish by SMUgourmetclub. Well, I shan't be saying much about it till it's done, nor posting any pictures until after everything's completed. All I can say is I'm enjoying it veryvery much. Two of my favouritest things to do in the world................ Food and Photography.

Speaking of photography... There's a reason why I like Rogue(from xmen haha ok i know i digress quite far) cuz i can't decide what mutant powers i like best. Yeah, fickleminded. K back to PGphy, i swear this is the gazillionth time i cannot decide what to get, ok? Lugging around a heavy camera around my neck walking for long periods of time making me kinda hesitate on buying another dslr, you know? My neck has been aching like crazymuch recently... Also, SemiPros are getting better and better! Plus interchngeablelens increasingly common. Practicality over similar functions? Yah just saying my thoughts aloud here. Too confusing, cannot decide. See, consumer choices, paradox of consumerism........... it's making us unhappier.

Sigh. Hope i recover faster, hehehe. I deserve it la, falling sick. Sometimes i suspect i'm doing it on purpose ( it meaning spamming junk food and not drinking water for days) just to test myself. Lololol. I dunno.... I just don't like drinking water. Don't have that habit HAHA. Gimme a can of coke or a bottle or vitagen/yakult or whatever sweet and/or carbonated drinks and all.... Just not water. And junk food is just my usual companion when i'm bumming around, no biggy.

Ohwell. The point of the post is useless. So if you just read it, you have wasted about 3minutes of your life like how i've wasted idk how long typing this. I think I am just bored, taking a break from watching xmen evolution. Lol. Summer's almost over............ Just a month more. Feeling kinda regretful now I haven't achieved much that I planned.

PS: Ive got Jean Grey's hair now! Bob hairstyle though, impossible for my hair to grow so fast right. Haha. Yah anyway cos I helped my friend's friend yesterday for her advanced hair colouring exam module..... So happy that the exam theme was Red Highlights (advanced!) Pretty cool being a hair model. Hahahhaha.

Hi ya'll.

I'm gonna sleep after this but thought i'ld just share this picture hehe.

My first cake from scratch on my own (yes i've used premixes in the past, and even things baked from scratched were all with the help of my prev maid or just helping momster with the baking).

So, of course must commemorate!

It wasn't all successful cuz the cake didn't rise very well so instead of being spongey and light, it was more like a... huat kueh (if you know what i mean... those lucky cakes thingy thats super hard and it splits open like a flower at the top, u know?) haha yeah the cake was pretty dense but it wasnt HARD you know. It just, well... didn't rise very much lor.

I think it has to do with the eggs i used cuz they were quite small.

Either that or the way i did the folding of the batter :(

frosting the cake was a pain in the ass without a proper turn table.

and at that time i was in a rush cuz i was in pain!

oh yes, after the cake was done in the oven, i left it to cool while the family went ta ecp for lunch.

was supposed to be jumbo but them lazy butts weren't open (sobs my chilli crab and mantou) so we ended up at long beach instead.

pepper crab was nubbad but tad bit too spicy for me!

too much food cos the lady who took our order just assumed my family of 8 people should have large size for all 8/9 dishes. Wtf.

Food wasn't fantastic, but i whacked the crab la cos too hungry already you know?

Quite yumtumz but i know, in my heart, jumbo chilli crab is still #1 ok?

2nd kinda crab i like is mellben's xo crab beehoon cuz the soup is damn fking awesome!

anyway after lunch we headed back home and poor me suddenly had a nasty stomachache but i had to lug my ass off to give tuition and when i got home i was almost half dead la.

writhing in pain on the floor mehhhh.

finally got round to whipping up the frosting + cutting strawberries + decorating the cake and by then 5vish alrdy? slept after that, cldnt tahan sia.

I'm guessing it's either yesterday's lunch that killed my stomach or.... actually it's most probably the peppercrab that was way too spicy for my tummy.

Sorry la, i know i'm such a jiak kantang person, cannot take spicy food :(

dinner + cake after that mmhmm. the cake was good la i think, for a first timer i wld say pretty damn awesome!

haha. the cream was fantablicious and the strawberries so sweetttttt ^^ so it makes up for the huatkuey-like cake.

dad drove us to tamp to drop my bro off and we got lost ( i dont know how, my dad's sense of direction is deteriorating cuz of his eyesight i think ) and i think he can't see well at night anymore omg so anyway he drove into this supremely long box junction and apparently the 'green light' was actually a green B for bus so yes 2 mistakes one after another and he just drove off. then at the 2nd traffic light the fked up driver kept glaring at us and making photo gestures and pointing wildly like a raving lunatic trying to intimidate us or what?

just mind your own business la, bus driver. pfft. as though we caused obstruction to him leh wtf lor seriously.

so anyway we'll prolly be receiving a fine letter soon and i'm trying to urge dadster to complain and make a fuss.

hmm. finally got to pasir ris and let my older siblings try the cake and yes they are very particular about their food (hence lucky me gets to tag along when they feel generous and can bring us along to yummy places) ok so hmm..... comments are well, yeah la hard cake and all the normal. which is true so hehe. try again next time luh.

i'm damn tired already, it's 2.05am :( mebbe i'll blog soon, quite a lot to talk about!

and i need to do so many things but i just keep procrastinating.

oh and ive been training up in SC2, like finally right, i know.

i somehow don't remember sc1 being so complicated.

then again maybe cuz i was like in primary school and was forever using cheatcodes to win. HAHA.

plus it's been eons since ive played such games!

mm, weekends and weekdays are the same to me now heh. it's sunday already! going the novena udders later in the evening with some of the girls.
